Description
ZP-14A - Water-Soluble Developer
ZP-14A is a water-soluble developer used to enhance the indications formed during liquid penetrant inspections. ZP-14A produces a uniform, white, porous coating when dry, which is easily removed during post-inspection cleaning with a water jet. Its main advantages include highly defined, bright indications and its ability to be removed with water. The white powder developer dissolves in water to form a uniform solution and requires no agitation after the bath is prepared. ZP-14A is recommended for use with ZL-2C, ZL-27A, and ZL-37 post-emulsifiable liquid penetrants. ZP-14A is listed on the SAE AMS 2644 Qualified Products List (QPL).
