Description
ZL-60D – Water Washable Fluorescent Penetrant - Level 2
ZL-60D is a medium-sensitivity, water-washable fluorescent penetrant designed for testing rough or rough machined surfaces. It is ideal for detecting indications in cast, forged, and extruded materials, providing reliable and efficient inspection.
Operating Principle
ZL-60D is easily removed from parts, minimizing background fluorescence and ensuring clearer readings. It is safe for use on aerospace alloys and engineering applications, including aluminum, steel, nickel, and titanium. It can be used with the recommended developers: ZP-4B (dry powder), SKD-S2, ZP-9F (solvent), or ZP-5B (water-based).
Benefits
- Improved detection: Water-washable, reducing background fluorescence on uneven surfaces.
- Application versatility: Works on a wide range of materials and industrial processes.
- High performance and cost-effectiveness: Requires less product over time due to low adhesion and evaporation.
- Greater comfort and safety: Reduces strong odors and meets environmental and occupational health (EHS) requirements.
