AD-2000 is an oily fluorescent additive suitable for detecting leaks in seals in hydraulic systems and combustion engines. It is a high-performance product used in very low concentrations, enabling leak detection using ultraviolet light without causing any damage to the system or altering the properties of the lubricant to which it is added. AD-2000 was specially formulated to be diluted at very low concentrations and with high tinting power in mineral, semi-synthetic, and synthetic oils used in hydraulic systems and combustion engines. Its high fluorescence power under ultraviolet light, combined with its high capillarity, makes it easy to quickly identify small leaks in engine gaskets and seals in hydraulic systems, as well as any cracks or defects in the body of any material, metallic or non-metallic. The AD-2000's greatest advantage is its detection power and chemical inertness, which allow the test to be performed by diluting it directly into the oil of the system being inspected, without causing any damage to the engine or the system or altering the properties of the lubricating oil used. The AD-2000 fluoresces when excited under 365nm UVa ultraviolet light, emitting an intense visible orange-yellow light. This type of inspection is optimized when performed in a darkened environment.
