ZL-150 - Water Washable Fluorescent Penetrant - Level 2
Specially developed to reduce operating costs in liquid penetrant testing, the ZL-150 water-washable fluorescent penetrant is ideal for detecting indications in raw castings in high-volume applications using the immersion method. With ZL-150, high performance in terms of sensitivity and removal capacity is achieved. The ZL-150 medium-sensitivity penetrant features low penetrant retention on parts after immersion, also known as carryover or ballast. Furthermore, it can be removed from parts quickly and easily, leaving very little background fluorescence, reducing inspection time and the amount of water required for removal, providing clear indications for reliable inspections. ZL-150 is included in the SAE AMS 2644 QPL Qualified Products List.
