Nikon's 7.5x zoom stereo microscope with 115mm working distance – a top model in this category.
With 7.5x magnification and a long 115mm working distance, the Nikon SMZ745 stereo microscopes are suitable for industrial and biomedical applications. The adoption of a new total reflection prism produces brighter, higher-contrast images, and the anti-mildew design allows the microscope to be used in environments with high temperatures and humidity. The SMZ-745T trinocular model comes equipped with a microscope camera connection port and a built-in 0.55x C-mount adapter, allowing direct mounting of Nikon DS-series digital cameras.

- Extremely High 7.5x Zoom Range: The SMZ745/745T features a 7.5x zoom lens incorporating a Greenough-type optical system. The zoom range of 0.67x to 5x provides a wide observation range.

The Three Main Characteristics of Design
- Airtight (SMZ745): By making the joints airtight, contamination from dust, oil, water, and other contaminants is prevented. Airtight construction: JIS IPX1 enclosures provide protection.
- Mildew-resistant (SMZ745 / SMZ745T): Nikon's uniquely developed anti-mildew design ensures peace of mind when using the microscope in environments subject to high temperatures or humidity. (*Except in Europe)
- Electrostatic-resistant (SMZ745 / SMZ745T): Static electricity accumulated in the microscope is discharged.
Trinocular Optical Head for Monitoring and Digital Imaging
The SMZ745T incorporates an optical path switching lever that allows for easy switching between the eyepiece and the camera. A Nikon Digital Sight series camera can be attached.
