ML-500WB – Fluorescent Suspension for Non-Destructive Testing

The ML-500WB is a highly sensitive, water-based magnetic particle suspension used to detect discontinuities under ultraviolet light or a combination of ultraviolet light and white light (Mixed Light).

Operating Principle

ML-500WB uses a specific concentration of MG-410 combined with water conditioning agents, antifoams, and corrosion inhibitors. It is diluted with water before use and sprayed onto magnetized parts to identify cracks, folds, inclusions, wrinkles, tears, and chips. Fluorescent particles accumulate where the magnetic field is interrupted, making flaws visible under ultraviolet (UV) light and also in combination with white light.
