GWH 15 FERROTEST - Portable Magnetization Unit
The Ferrotest GWH 15 portable high-current magnetization unit provides AC and HWDC magnetization currents ranging from 1,050 Amp-turns AC to 950 Amp-turns DC.
The constant current is activated via a footswitch or manual switch. An electronic system regulates the test current from 0 to maximum in approximately 200 ms, avoiding unnecessary load peaks in the power grid.
If pulse operation is selected, a sequence of single pulses is generated according to a factory-set on/off duty cycle (1 s/1 s). When the demagnetization setting is selected, the test current is regulated from the maximum value set to 0 in approximately 600 ms.
