8A Red is a red-colored magnetic particle designed to provide strong contrast on metal surfaces, facilitating flaw detection in visible light magnetic particle testing using the dry method.
Operating Principle
8A RED is applied directly to the magnetized part using a powder sprayer or sprayed manually. During magnetization, particles accumulate in areas of discontinuity, making them visible without the need for ultraviolet light. On materials with high magnetic retention, indications may still be formed after the current is turned off.
