4D INSPEC Surface Meter 4D InSpec®
- 3D measurement, allowing quantification of corrosion spots, scratches, chips, pitting, protrusions, porosity, and other attributes with depths or heights ranging from 0.0002 to 0.1 inches (5μm to 2.5mm).

The 4D InSpec surface gauge is the first portable precision instrument for non-contact measurement of surface attributes and defects. With micrometer resolution, portability, affordability, and ease of operation, the 4D InSpec brings high-resolution measurements to the shop floor, in machine-based manufacturing, or development environments.
Unlike high-end metrology systems, it is robust, flexible, and affordable, enabling the measurement of a wide range of component geometries in the most challenging environments. The 4D InSpec can be maneuvered to reach tight corners or measure large surfaces.
An optional accessory containing an articulated mirror allows the system to function as a borescope for accessing blind holes and inside diameters.
