14AM – Fluorescent Suspension for Non-Destructive Testing

14AM is a highly sensitive, oil-based magnetic particle suspension designed to detect fine and very fine discontinuities in critical parts. It produces clear fluorescent green indications under ultraviolet light, providing excellent inspection quality and accuracy.

Operating Principle

14AM is a ready-to-use mixture of 14A particles with an oil-based carrier (Carrier II). It is sprayed onto magnetized parts prior to inspection, allowing the detection of cracks, folds, inclusions, wrinkles, tears, and chips. Fluorescent particles accumulate where the magnetic field is interrupted, making flaws visible under UV light.
